As long as I can remember, one of the greatest challenges in the Church has been getting people involved.  This is a challenge to our leadership.  It is better to get ten men to work than to do the work of ten men.

There is room for everyone in the kingdom.  God has given to every man His work.  The kingdom is like Heaven, in a way; Heaven is big enough to hold everyone.  We must do our part (work) to get to Heaven.  Why then are we not more involved in the church.  The church will never grow when only a handful assume the major part of the work load.  The Christians must get involved and stay involved.  Paul, no doubt, had such involvement in mind when he wrote in Ephesians 4:16, "From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love."  In this verse Paul is speaking of the church as a body.  Notice each part supplies its works.  The result is increase.  This is a great picture of involvement.

So many in the family here at East End have found their place in the body.  They know what they can do and are doing it heartily to the Lord.  However, there are a few that have not found their place in the body (involvement doing the Lord's work).  The Hebrew writer said:  "But beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, . . . " (Hebrews 6:9).

We love you.  We want you to do better.  Get involved.  East End is blessed with great potential.  We are also blessed with great talent.  We need to use them to the fullest.  Let us all find ways to get involved.
