"The Faithful Few"

One of the greatest downfalls among Christians has been excuses.  Many people, including gospel preachers, who were once faithful, have been destroyed by excuses and not doing the work of the Church.

Many folks will help to sing and some are glad to talk.  But when it comes to doing things - cutting grass, cleaning windows, trimming trees and other things around the building, a lot of them will balk, "I can't do  this" and "I can't do that," or "Excuse me please, this time" and "I would be glad to help you out, but this is not my line of work."  In every congregation, when there is some work to do, it's very likely to be done by just "The Faithful Few."

When the Elders look about for some who will help, they nearly always have to go and ask "The Faithful Few."  They never stop to make excuses, but always do the work.  Are you one of "The Faithful Few?"

Some day, the Lord will come again with judgement wise and true, and then with Him to heaven He'll take "The Faithful Few."  Can you be counted on when called upon?  Are you one of "The Faithful Few?"
