THE JUDGEMENT IS CERTAIN

Past/Future Articles

One of the most basic teachings of the Bible is that all of us will one-day stand before the God of Heaven for judgement.  The apostle Paul said “. . .for we shall all stand before the judgement seat of Christ” (Rom. 14:10).  Paul also wrote “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Gal. 6:7).

Even though we suffer in this life for some of the wrongs we do, the “reaping” done in this world is by no means the full measure.  At the last day God’s justice will be allotted to all.  The judgement could be today or thousands of years from now – but it is certain.

Israel was warned of the judgement (Eccl. 12:13,14), the apostles warned of the judgement (Rom. 14:12; II Cor. 5:10); Jesus told the parable of the “ten virgins” to warn of the need to prepare now for the judgement, so must we also prepare NOW for the judgement; for it is CERTAIN.
